Why choose Wool beanies?

When sourcing materials for our beanies we consider a number of factors.  Including softness, colors, and the long term impact to mother nature.  We choose wool for many of our beanies because it is a natural fiber that comes from sheep.  It also decomposes in soil in as little as three to four months, putting nitrogen-based nutrients back into the ground.  This ensures that once the useful  life of our beanies are complete they leave minimal to no footprint. Thankfully the lifespan for wool is long and typically will outlast most other garments when taken care of appropriately.  Wool breathes well while still keeping your head warm and its complex chemical composition prevents the build-up of sweat, bacteria, and off putting smells.
